Mammary gland tumor summary
A summary of findings related to mammary gland tumors, most
often excerpted from IARC Monographs or the NTP 11th ROC, and, in some cases,
supplemented by our evaluation of individual studies and reviews, is available for the priority
chemicals and 67 others.
Snedeker, 1999: Most studies done in experimental animals are invalid as cancer bioassays by contemporary standards. One study that used sufficient exposure time and large number of animals (Chan et al.,1991), reported an increase in incidence of mammary gland fibroadenomas/adenomas (benign) in one of the two groups of female F344 rats that were fed dichlorvos.
